HEALING COMMON GROUND

Collective Practices of Terrestrial Belonging

2.10-13.12.2025

at Motherboard Art Space, Vienna

Healing Common Ground is an experimental, participatory initiative and living laboratory that transforms MOTHERBOARD into a space of relational, ecological, and artistic practice. Conceived under the artistic direction of Stephanie Winter, in collaboration with Curators-in-Residence Juliana Furthner and Elisabeth Oberleitner, the project invites participants to explore what it means to belong, to each other, to the terrestrial family, and to the ecosystems that sustain us.

Across October and November 2025, the program unfolds as a sequence of performative, experimental, and reflective engagements, combining sharing sessions, embodied activations, walks, performative dinners, and multispecies encounters. Each gesture, sound, object, and movement leaves traces that accumulate into a living archive, a cartography of attention, care, and possibility.

The program explores three intertwined threads: the unearthing of silenced voices, the re-imagining of relational and ecological practices, and the deliberate unlearning of inherited patterns of domination, hierarchy, and separation. Participants engage in listening, reflection, and performative experiments to cultivate conditions for new forms of connection and co-becoming.
